My Experience on Maybelline Fit Matte Poreless Matte Foundation
It’s a basic demi matte foundation from Maybelline. Maybelline Fit Me foundation comes in glass bottle packaging, with a screw cap. Some ladies might like a dispenser pump, but I’m OK with this at the moment because pump or not pump, I’m unable to apply foundation directly onto my face. I need to put it out of my hand and apply it using the help of a beauty sponge or brush. The pump isn’t an issue because it’s pretty inexpensive. You must be cautious when pouring the foundation because the bottle is vast with an edge, and there is a possibility that you’ll spill more than the required amounts.
Texture & Consistency
It is a soft, medium creamy consistency with a smooth texture. It is an excellent product for oily skin. I apply it to my face after I have primed it. This Matte foundation Maybelline blends smoothly. It is drying fast. Therefore, I must be quick when applying this demi matte foundation. It provides a decent amount of coverage. It is not sheer nor highly transparent. I find this type of coverage perfect for wear every day. It can be built up, but I’d rather apply a different foundation for a full range instead of placing the foundation on top and over for coverage building. It gives the skin a look relatively even, but it doesn’t cover any medium-deep marks or scars. If you need to cover such spots, I recommend applying the best concealer.
Staying Power
Its staying power is decent. It didn’t stop me from being cakey or patchy for over 5 hours, which is fantastic in the summertime. It was necessary to apply several touch-ups using my compact powder, but that’s OK, I’d say. I love its ability to create a matte look on the skin. It doesn’t look orange or ashy.

Its Fit Me Matte and the Poreless foundations have six shades available in India, which, I believe, would fit all skin types, but I would have loved to see all shades available in India since everyone would have their ideal shade match. I would recommend people with dry skin not buy this Matte foundation Maybelline without trying out the foundation first, as it can look like it is sitting on dry patches on the skin and doesn’t appear as when you do have those. However, if those with dry skin want to try this out, you should moisturize your skin before putting this on and ensure there aren’t any prominent dry areas. I honestly would like to see Maybelline introduces the Dewy + Smooth Foundation in India soon since this foundation is specifically designed for those with dry skin.
