Hot, Bright Lips
In Milan and Paris, it seemed like spring was going to be a season of “natural” lips. But it was another story entirely in New York with bright, matte lips being featured at Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra, and Rag & Bone. The message went to London Fashion Week too where the red colors came with a bang at House of Holland. Hot orange lips are a huge hit too since the electric shade looks flattering on almost every skin tone.
Sultry Black Liner
Looks like black eyeliner will never go out of style. This season black eyeliner is to be worn with a teenage, rebellious attitude. At Jonathan Saunders, Versace, Blugirl, and Just Cavalli it was applied with swipes of smudgy kohl coupled with little else, while at Stella McCartney, Rodarte, and Missoni it was sultry and feline. Shows like Carven featured a neat black line on the bottom lashes that looked more punky.
Raw Beauty
Every season on the runway, you can always see some variation of natural beauty, but this season things were as pared back as they can possibly be. Although models at some shows wore almost nothing on their faces, there is an art to getting it right.
Pastel Eyeshadows
The Instagram makeup trends in summer 2021 saw a pretty alternative to the smoky eye with a wash of shadows around the eyes.
Golden Glows
According to the new makeup trends 2021, a bronzer is to be your best friend this season. The golden-glow tanned skin is the way to go this season. A Studio 54 vibe could also be felt by looking at the bronze eyes.
Graphic Eyeliner
Eyeliner has also gone graphic with angular shapes, which may take a little bit of practice to get right. The graphic liner makes this retro obsession more modern yet still sexy. Makeup artists made a winged shape on both the outer and inner corners of the eyes.

Every season dark liner is seen on the runway, but it seems like both white and black liner will be sharing the spotlight this spring. The white liner on the top, bottom, or both eyelids looks fresh and fun, especially when it is paired with orange or hot pink lipstick.

Some intriguing makeup patterns I have gone over are the “no cosmetics” cosmetics look. I love that this look is so unpretentious and common that it simply improves people’s regular magnificence.
Another must be the lash-out pattern. Without bogus lashes, individuals are making various looks with their lashes and eyeliner, regardless of whether it’s the doll look, clumpy lashes, or making them wispy.
